Custer’s Storehouse is proudly serving the community providing free food, clothing, furniture, shoes, bath items, and household essentials to all residents of Custer County, SD.
Thanks to a brand-new building expansion, we’ve doubled our food bank space — offering canned goods, and freezer items than ever before.
Open Hours:
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday & Saturday of each month

Monetary donations are accepted and appreciated.
Items include:

AND, PLEASE NO DUMPING
We do not take TVs, computer monitors, exercise equipment, like treadmills, and rowing machines.
We also check the condition of items and will reject things like stained or torn mattresses, refrigerators and freezers and other appliances that are old or damaged.
And, Cookware that has been used to a point that the coating is damaged.
The Storehouse is for Families residing in Custer County Only.
Everything is donated by the community — and everything is always free.

Soup, Pasta, Canned Fruits and Vegetables, Peanut Butter
Shoes, Clothing, and Furniture
Household Items & Seasonal Items

Custer’s Storehouse, located at 66 Centennial Drive, has just completed a major expansion to better serve our community!
The new addition doubles the size of the Storehouse’s food bank. There’s now more space for refrigerators, shelves, and storage — which means more food available for local families in need.
You’ll now find:
Frozen meat, cheese and milk
Prepackaged food items
Shelves full of soup, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits and vegatables and tuna
Since 2010, the Storehouse has provided free:

Household items
Food
Everything is free to all Custer County residents —
The Storehouse runs 100% on donations from generous people in the community.

Donations are best dropped off only when we’re open to keep them safe from the weather.

Right now, First Interstate Bank in Custer is collecting coats for the Storehouse’s Winter Coat Project on November 5.
Soon, the Storehouse will have racks full of:

Scarves
Snowpants
